The European Union’s Donald Tusk has made an absurd intervention on Brexit, talking of a “place in hell” for those who campaigned for Leave but in his view don’t have a plan.
He tweeted today: “I’ve been wondering what that special place in hell looks like, for those who promoted Brexit, without even a sketch of a plan how to carry it out safely.”

Nigel Farage responded by saying: “After Brexit we will be free of unelected, arrogant bullies like you and run our own country. Sounds more like heaven to me.”
What are those in Brussels smoking? A ridiculous remark when the UK and EU are meant to be engaged in serious negotiations.
