Tory MPs slam government approach to Brexit

MPs have rallied against Theresa May’s Brexit proposals, saying it will lead to a Corbyn government and amounts to nothing more than ‘half’ leaving the European Union.

Connor Burns, Iain Duncan Smith and Marcus Fysh have all critiqued the Chequers plans.

Burns thinks the government has approached the Leave vote as a disaster instead of an ‘amazing opportunity’.

IDS says he ‘voted to leave, not half leave’, according to reports.

And Marcus Fysh thinks it will lead to Jeremy Corbyn coming to power.

How much longer can May survive without a leadership challenge? If Tory MPs feel this way about the government’s approach, imagine what the public think. This is madness.
