Tory MPs 'have told May to ask Trump for help in Brexit negotiations'

With the European Union seemingly refusing to negotiate and Theresa May needing major changes to a UK-EU deal for it to have any chance of being approved by MPs, some have urged the Prime Minister to seek out help from President Trump.

Business Insider reckon Conservative MPs have approached May and urged her to ask Trump if he will lobby the Irish government for changes to get a deal done.

The billionaire businessman did write ‘The Art of the Deal’ and has been clear in his support for a huge UK-US trade deal.

Of course the negotiations would likely have gone a lot differently if Trump had been in charge. He told May to sue the EU rather than enter into negotiations.
