The Conservative Party received just 4 votes in a local by-election last night.
The by-election in Gwynfi, an electoral ward in the constituency of Aberavon where the Tories came second in 2017, saw the party finish dead last on less than 1% with just 4 votes, compared to 60 for Labour, 73 for Plaid Cymru and 268 for the winner, an Independent candidate who trounced Corbyn’s Labour.
Note the Conservative candidate polled 4 votes.
