Retail sales surge

In further good economic news for Brexit Britain, February saw a surge in consumer spending, boosting retail sales.

Retail sales were 3.7% higher than in February 2016, once again proving doomsday economic predictions surrounding the Brexit referendum to be totally and utterly wrong.

Sales were up 1.4% compared to January, as Brits continue to spend money just as the Prime Minister gets set to trigger Article 50 to leave the EU. Economists had forecast just 0.4%. Wrong again.

Once again Brexit Britain defies critics, so-called experts and economic pessimists. Bright days ahead.
