Remainer Parliament votes against No Deal Brexit

A hopelessly out of touch Remain-dominated Parliament has this evening voted against a No Deal Brexit. Against proper independence and destroying the UK’s hand in negotiations, it is utter madness.

The vote on an amendment tabled by Tory MP Caroline Spelman and Labour MP Jack Dromey is against No Deal under any circumstances.

MPs backed it by 312 to 308. Though it does not have legal force and is non-binding, it demonstrated again how many MPs are dead-set against an increasingly popular WTO Brexit.

A ComRes poll at the weekend found that across the country just 30% of voters are against a No Deal Brexit if the EU refuses to compromise further as they are currently indicating. There is a 14-point lead of British voters in favour of a No Deal than outright opposed.

Parliament has once again shown itself to be hopelessly out of touch with British voters. The country cannot go on like this for much longer.
