Rees-Mogg standing for the Brexit Party

Nigel Farage today launched the Brexit Party in Coventry, with Jacob Rees-Mogg’s sister Annunziata Rees-Mogg announcing that she will stand for the party in May’s European Elections.

The former Conservative candidate insisted that “politicians need to listen to what the people have said” by delivering Brexit as she insisted that her new party must now “fight to win”.

Farage said that the “fight back” was starting now against a “Parliament completely out of touch with our country”.

The Brexit Party will “change politics for good” Farage said, aiming to start by winning the European Elections.

Nigel said he wanted to put the “fear of God into our MPs in Westminster”.

A number of other candidates spoke as well, with pro-Brexit businessman Richard Tice revealed as the Brexit Party’s Chairman.
