The pro-second referendum leadership candidate Sam Gyimah has withdrawn from the leadership contest after he admits to not receiving “sufficient support” to proceed to the next stage of proceedings.
Leadership hopefuls needed to be nominated by eight parliamentary colleagues by 17:00 BST this afternoon.
