Police have raided 3 addresses in the Midlands after a man was arrested on suspicion of crashing into cyclists outside Parliament.
The 29-year-old suspect is refusing to cooperate with investigators and is not believed to have been known to MI5.
2 addresses in Birgminham and 1 in Nottingham were searched by police. A witness to 1 of the raids told the BBC “A van parked up outside the house, they broke into the house. They shouted ‘Police!’, they broke a couple of doors.”
The attack yesterday resulted in 2 people going to hospital but were both later discharged.
Assistant Commissioner from the Metropolitan police, Neil Basu said in a statement “Given that this appears to be a deliberate act, the method and this being an iconic site, we are treating it as a terrorist incident and the investigation is being led by officers from the Counter Terrorism Command.
Officers are searching the vehicle and no other weapons have been found at this time.”
The wave of terror across the Western world will only continue whilst our politicians fail to act.
