Obama cheers on pro-EU poodle Macron

Uber establishment French Presidential hopeful Emmanuel Macron could barely contain his excitement as he spoke to Barack Obama on the phone yesterday, with Obama wishing Macron good luck in the French election.

“Wish you all the best in the coming days,” Obama said, wishing the pro-EU candidate “good luck”.

“I will do my best,” Macron promised before vowing to keep in touch and work together with Obama if successful in the tight, unpredictable electoral contest.
