Theresa May is facing resignations from her Cabinet after it has been reported she is willing to give further concessions to the EU by keeping the UK in the Customs Union for an unspecified time after Brexit.
May’s plan would see no time limit on keeping Britain in the EU’s Customs Union, simply saying we would stay until a trade deal could be made, meaning there would be a risk we would stay in it forever.
Speculation grows that Cabinet Brexiteers including Esther McVey, Penny Mordaunt and Andrea Leadsom could resign over the massive Brexit concession.
When asked if McVey would support the PM’s Chequers plan she simply responded: “I am completely supportive of the Prime Minister, as she well knows. What I won’t do is give speculation into what is going forward.”
According to the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg “Andrea Leadsom has serious concerns and ‘has a lot to think about’ over the next few days.”
If this is the final compromise, there's v real risk Brexiteers won't accept it – I understand Andrea Leadsom has serious concerns and 'has a lot to think about' over the next few days

It’s time for May to chuck Chequers and solve this issue now. If not, time for a new Prime Minister.
