Macron: Britain could still be part of 'reformed EU'

French President Emmanuel Macron has suggested that Britain could rejoin the EU after Brexit, as he laid out his ten-year vision for the bloc.

Speaking at the Grand Amphitheater of the Sorbonne in Paris, the French President said: “In a few years, if they want, the United Kingdom could find its place…in this reformed and simplified EU that I’m proposing.

“I can’t imagine that the United Kingdom could not find its place.”

Macron also used his speech to call for an EU Army, something Europhiles long promised was not on the cards.

There is now a clear move by some British Remoaners, Eurocrats and foreign governments to either stop Brexit from happening or bounce the UK back into the Brussels bloc.
