Lords back EU Customs Union

Lords have backed a motion for an EU Customs Union by 348 to 225.

Those Peers who backed the attempt to massively water down Brexit included 3 Bishops, 24 Conservatives, 148 Labour Peers, and 83 Liberal Democrats.

Just 1 Labour Peer voted against the Customs Union move, as did 2 Liberal Democrats and 183 Conservatives.

This would mean the UK unable to negotiate global trade deals, a total insult after the British people voted for a full Brexit.
