London woman 'doesn't regret' joining ISIS but wants to return

An ISIS-supporting woman who joined Islamic State as a 15-year-old from Bethnal Green, East London insists that she “doesn’t regret” her actions but now wants to return the London as she’s heavily pregnant. Her request comes as Islamic State are being smashed to pieces. How convenient.

Shamima Begum told The Times: “When I saw my first severed head in a bin it didn’t faze me at all. It was from a captured fighter seized on the battlefield, an enemy of Islam.

“I thought only of what he would have done to a Muslim woman if he had the chance.”

With two infant children having already died and now nine months pregnant, she says: “I could not endure the suffering and hardship that staying on the battlefield involved. But I was also frightened that the child I am about to give birth to would die like my other children if I stayed on. So I fled the caliphate. Now all I want to do is come home to Britain.”

She added that: “I just want to come home to have my child. That’s all I want right now. I’ll do anything required just to be able to come home and live quietly with my child.”

As former England cricket Captain, Michael Vaughan, said of her request to return to England: “Surely once she made her decision 4 years ago she gave up her right!”

Those who went to support ISIS did so knowing it is an organisation that rapes children, throws gay people off buildings and tortures people. More than 400 so-called ‘returning jihadis’ have already been allowed to return to Britain. Not a single one should have ever been allowed back and nor should Shamima Begum.
