The Leave.EU campaign to get Leave voters to join the Conservative Party in order to help elect a Brexiteer at the next Tory leadership election has seen well over 1,000 people enquire over the last few days alone, Westmonster understands.
Many have signed up, and tweeted as such, including pro-Brexit individuals who have never been a member of any political party.
