A leaked government document has revealed the Brexit transition period could go on for an indefinite period of time – that’s not time limited, it’s not Brexit.
It also appears to confirm that Britain will also be subject to ECJ rule, again, for an indefinite period of time.

The document, available here, states: “The duration should be determined simply by how long it will take to prepare and implement.”
It adds: “The UK acknowledges that the agreed approach will need to ensure the UK’s domestic law reflects the Union acquis covered by this part of the agreement during the transition period.”
