Kurten: Khan can't build enough homes to cope with population surge & protect green spaces

UKIP London Assembly Member David Kurten has torn Sadiq Khan to shreds, saying it’s impossible to build the 100,000 new homes needed to cope with population growth in the capital without losing more green spaces.

Khan said he wants to massively increase the number of green spaces in London, and recently found £2m for ‘green space projects’ (how many police officers could that have paid for?).

But given that London’s population, fuelled by mass migration, is shooting through the roof, it does beg the question: where on earth are all these people going to live?

Kurten said: “He wants to increase the green space in London by 50% by 2050, when he will be long gone as Mayor. There’s no way he can do that with the pressure on housing.

“London’s population gone up from about 7million 20 years ago to 9m today tat’s almost entirely due to immigration from people coming abroad into London and on current trends it will continue to go up by 100,000-a-year.

“You simply cannot build housing for an extra 100,000 people a year for the next 32 years without reducing the amount of green space in London. Even a 5-year-old child could understand that, but the Mayor doesn’t seem to.”

Sadiq Khan’s plastic policies being torn apart yet again…
