The Hungarian government is looking to bring in legislation that punishes anyone found to be helping illegal migrants as part of its ‘Stop Soros’ plan.
The laws, set to go before Parliament, would mean anyone who aids illegal immigration would face prison or a fine.
Printing leaflets with information for illegal migrants and offering them food or legal advice could now become a criminal offence.
Viktor Orban, Hungary’s Prime Minister, has long accused Hungarian-American billionaire Soros if trying to enforce his own globalist agenda and flood the European continent with migrants. That’s the same George Soros who wants to overturn Brexit and have a second referendum, by the way.
“Those who provide financial means…or conduct this organisational activity on a regular basis will be punishable with up to one year in prison,” reads the new proposed law.
Csaba Dömötör, State Secretary, gave a press conference on Tuesday saying: “This is a legal framework and it will be up to the courts to decide how they will qualify certain activities.”
The EU wants to relocate some 160,000 refugees currently living in overcrowded camps in Italy and Greece, but Hungary opposes this idea of forcibly making a nation take in foreign nationals.
At the end of the day, Orban wants his country to have strong borders, he wants to thoroughly vet those who enter the country in order to keep his people safe and preserve his national culture and identity. Is it any wonder the EU and Soros want to stop that?
