The Greek people have had enough of the European Union’s disastrous migration policy – and things are now turning ugly.
A visit to the area by Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras saw thousands out to protest against the European Union’s open door policy that has seen huge numbers of migrants and refugees arrive.
The police ended up using tear gas and discharged a flash grenade, as public anger spilled over.
As the Mayor of Lesbos, Spyros Galinos, has said: “The people of Lesbos are exhausted.
“The rhythm of our lives has been shattered by refugees and migrants who now number a third of our population…fear prevails. Women are afraid to leave their homes at night, children are kept locked up indoors because parents are afraid to let them go out and play. No community would put up with this.”
Riot police were on the seen yesterday evening and protestors tried to topple a police bus.
There was a big general strike on the island protesting the costly EU-Turkey deal migrant deal that has seen huge numbers of migrants in Lesbos, with no end in sight.
A protester said of the mad EU policy: “It has gone too far. Every day buses (with refugees) arrive, and they’re full.

“The (government) has to do something and take the people somewhere else.”
This is the sad result of a totally mad, completely irresponsible EU migration policy that has ruined areas like Lesbos. People are angry and rightly so. Those in Brussels who have overseen and encouraged these mass influxes of people in short periods of time should be ashamed of themselves.
