Farage slaps Blair down for wanting to stop Brexit

Nigel Farage has hit back at Tony Blair after his attempts to derail Brexit, calling him one of the most disliked figures in British politics.

Blair said it was “absolutely necessary” Brexit doesn’t happen for economic reasons and claimed public opinion had turned against leaving the EU.

But Farage put him back in his place, saying: “He’s showing people why he is one of the most disliked living figures in British politics. He wants to reverse the result of a democratic referendum.

“He suggests public pinion has shifted but more people are in favour of Brexit now.”

Farage also pointed out that during Blair’s 6 months as President of the EU he pushed for reform of the common agricultural policy, got none and gave away £7billion of our rebate.

It’s time Tony crawled back into the shadows.
