Nigel Farage has hit out at the BBC as being “in denial” after a controversial interview on the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show that saw the interviewer ask surprisingly little about the European Elections taking place on 23rd May.
Instead, Marr asked about issues. ranging from Vladimir Putin to the NHS.

As Guido Fawkes noted, this was a somewhat bizarre line of questioning.

Farage then hit out, tweeting: “We are not just fighting the political class, but the BBC too.”

He later added: “The BBC are in denial. Looks like our entire establishment are in for a bigger surprise on May 23rd than they could ever imagine.”
Conservative MP Nadine Dorries weighed in, saying: “This was a fantastic interview for Nigel Farage. He may have been cross at the time, but BBC Politics could not have endeared him to the British public more if it had tried. He probably popped another 5k votes in the bag after this.”
