EU Withdrawal Bill passed, Lords back down

In an historic moment, the EU Withdrawal Bill has now been passed by the House of Lords.

It comes after an attempt by Lords to try and water down and stop Brexit, with a Remoaner amendment defeated earlier in the day by MPs in the House of Commons.

Brexit Minister David Davis took to Twitter to confirm the Bill had completed its passage through Parliament.

And he described it as a “decisive step forward”.
