DUP 'ready to vote down budget' if government ignores red lines

DUP MPs are ready to vote down the British government’s budget next week if Theresa May doesn’t deliver a Brexit deal that satisfies them.

That’s according to Tamara Cohen from Sky News, who also said that if May doesn’t deliver “she may not be the leader to take us through Brexit”.

DUP Leader Arlene Foster has said there is one red line: “That’s when we are treated differently from the rest of the United Kingdom in terms of customs, in terms of regulatory alignment.”

The pressure grows on the government to chuck Chequers and go for a Canadian-style free trade deal with the EU.
