As the clock continues to tick, former Brexit Secretary David Davis has predicted that there will be a “last minute deal when everybody has to come back to the table and be sensible”.
Speaking to LBC this morning though, he also reminded people that “No Deal is the law” for a 29th March departure and though there is a “preference for a deal” the UK “shouldn’t be terrified of a No Deal”.
Highlighting increasing pressure across Europe for Brussels to secure a deal with the UK, Davis also said: “If we have No Deal they’ve got a lot more to lose than we have.”
As Davis points out, the “European Union always takes it to the wire” which could mean negotiations going deep into March.

The UK must stand firm, prepare for an EU exit on WTO terms and refuse to accept a bad deal.
