Brexiteers relaxed about leaving without EU deal

According to The Guardian, senior government Ministers are telling colleagues that they are relaxed about leaving the EU without a deal.

This is great news, especially as the EU prepares to grandstand over its demands for a bumper payout, whereas the government know they can leave without a deal and still have the upper hand.

A government source has been quoted as saying: “People are being told that World Trade Organisation (WTO) rules would be the end of the world. We need to explain to them why it isn’t.”

As we’ve said for a long time, no deal is better than a bad deal. The public’s patience is wearing thin, talks of a transitional deal which will keep us half in for another decade will not go down well at the ballot box!
