The poll, conducted for The Times, has Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party polling 35% with Sir Vince Cable’s LibDems second on 16%.
That compares to Labour with 15%, the Greens on 10% and Theresa May’s Conservatives down to single digits on just 9%. That’s catastrophic for the governing party.
The polling also reveals the disconnect between the current Labout party and its traditional demographic with the typically working class C2DEs now backing the Brexit Party with 41% over Labour struggling on 17%.
