Black cabbies to receive terror attack training

In a sign of the changing face of British society and increasing threat posed by radical Islamic terrorism, London’s black cabbies are to be given first aid training.

Taxi app Myytaxi is developing the course, with their survey of 1,300 cabbies revealing 71% of them had made hospital trips for passengers with serious injuries. Around 24% had come to the aid of the public following a terror attack.

Former Head of the National Counter Terrorism Security Office, Chris Phillips has said that the terror threat facing the capital is “changing at an unprecedented pace”.

It is a sad state of affairs when London is relying on cabbies to respond to medical emergencies and terror incidents. The NHS is facing unprecedented demand from a soaring population fuelled by mass migration whilst the jihadi threat rises like never before. Bleak.
