Lawyers acting on behalf of Begum are seeking to stop her citizenship being revoked so that she can return to Britain.

This is for the same woman who recently said: “When I saw my first severed head in a bin it didn’t faze me at all. It was from a captured fighter seized on the battlefield, an enemy of Islam.”

Now YouGov have found that 71% of Brits don’t think Begum’s lawyers should receive legal aid, whilst only 17% say they should.

Those against include 90% of Conservative voters, 58% of Labour voters and 54% of LibDem supporters.

Yet Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn has astonishingly said: “I understand her solicitor has applied for legal aid. She is a British citizen. She is therefore entitled to apply for legal aid if she has a legal problem just like anybody else is.”

Corbyn also complained about the decision to strip her of citizenship, despite 65% of Brits being in favour of breaking international law to make her stateless and ensure she can’t return.

Jihadists shouldn’t be allowed back into Britain and certainly shouldn’t receive a penny of taxpayers’ money.
