69% increase in people from migrant backgrounds receiving benefits in Germany

The migrant crisis has had a monumental impact on Germany, as well as Europe as a whole, but the true financial cost to the taxpayer is absolutely massive.

The German Federal Employment Agency released a report revealing a 69% increase in welfare recipients coming from non-German backgrounds since 2010.

There’s now a total of 2.1m individuals signed up to the Hartz IV scheme that aren’t from Germany while the number of Germans receiving benefits has fallen by 20%.
