11 injured in California mass shooting, police say

11 people have been injured, including a Sheriff’s Deputy in a mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, California.

The shooting started around 23:20pm local time at a bar, and police are still trying to get the situation under control.

ABC journalist Jory Rand says he spoke to an eyewitness who said the shooter is “middle eastern looking with a beard” and that he used smoke bombs.

The police say this is an active shooter situation.
