President Trump was elected on a policy platform of cracking down on border security and these raids point to a tougher approach on border enforcement, with agents going into stores across 17 different states yesterday.

Derek Banner, the Head of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has promised more such action: “This is what we’re gearing up for this year and what you’re going to see more and more of is these large-scale compliance inspections, just for starters.”

More such raids are planned, with this hit leading to the arrest of 21 suspected illegal migrants from the nearly 100 stores involved.

Once again Trump delivering on what he promised during the election campaign.
