Austria’s Eurosceptic, anti-mass migration Freedom Party have done a deal with conservative election winner Sebastian Kurz which will see them in a governing coalition.

At the election in October no party won a majority so a deal had to be done. The Freedom Party were the most popular choice amongst young voters.
The coalition of Austria’s right-wing parties was the favoured outcome when Austrians were asked about who should govern.
Brussels won’t be happy though – Jean-Claude Juncker wrote to Sebastian Kurz urging him to form a “pro-European” government.
Another sign of a fracturing European Union where parties opposing mass migration are gaining at every election.
