Prescott to front ambitious documentary...
With a running time of three hours, it probably isn't going to be very pretty (unless ol' Prezza stays behind the camera). However, the concept of the show, in which the Labour MP investigates "the dreams and aspirations of the richest and the poorest, grapples with political apathy, middle-class syntax snobbery and the wealth gap in modern Britain", sounds midly interesting, to say the least.
According to the blurb, one of the other reasons to watch the show is that it will allow viewers to see some exclusive family pictures from the Prescott archives. It seems that, along with his recent book and admissions, the ex-deputy PM is quite quickly becoming to exhibitionism what Ann Widdecombe is to chastity...

I knew Aunty was nearing the bottom of the barrel, but I did not know she had got through it.
Sounds like the BBC are still producing programmes for the plebs then.
