Lunchtime Poll: Google Street View...

Heathers.jpgIt's been three days since our last grand attempt at political polling went online, and, with the epic response that we managed to garner, it's a testament to the Internet's durability that it didn't buckle under all the pressure. If you'd forgotten, we asked you what you thought of Boris Johnson and his time in office so far - whether or not he matched your expectations (in either a positive or negative way), or whether his work so far had not matched the standards that you had originally envisaged. Predictably, at a time when old Bojo seems to be facing one of his hardest times in office so far - what with a resigning deputy, etc - the majority of voters (33%) considered the Mayor to be doing worse than they had expected, perhaps suggesting that after a few months in office the reality has kicked in and the idealism professed to be a possiblity in his election campaign does not neccessarily have a place on the actual London streets. 28% said that Bojo was doing better than expected, 28% said as bad as expected, and only 11% said that he was doing as well as they had originally expected him to be doing. In conclusion, then, the majority of Westmonster readers have an anti-Bojo stance and had never imagined that he would be able to do a decent job of managing the capital...

Today's question concerns the grand overlords of all things Internet, Google. Apparently, the Street View feature of their mapping facility is causing a bit of a furor amongst UK privacy groups, due to concerns that terrorists or other miscreants will find ways to lower our house prices. How do you feel about the service, though? Are you bothered about your house or street being available for public viewing? Or does the exhibitionist in you want to share these kind of things with the world?

Street View Poll
How would you feel about Google Street View displaying images of your house ?
Absolutely in love with the idea
Absolutely not bothered
Absolutely mortified by the prospect

Poll results will be shipped to sea in a pea green boat...
