Gordon Brown goes digital...

brownsilhouette.jpgHip and happening Gordon Brown has managed to show the world that he's down with the times by utilising the Youtube network. In a move that slightly echoes that of the Queen last Christmas, Mr Brown will use the famous website to allow members of the public to ask him questions on 'any topic you like'.

Westmonster is set to ask him about the usual colour of his underpants on Thursdays, his favourite Norwegian singer, and whether or not he thinks that it's ethically correct to feed slightly mouldy bread to the ducks in the park...

The BBC has labelled the initiative as Brown's attempt to 'embrace the digital age', reporting that the PM has 'pledged' to respond to (selected) video clip questions and reconnect with young voters. Reports of England's youth tingling with excitement have sent newsrooms throughout the nation into a flurry of lunacy.

The news comes as Mr Brown prepares to open Google's London technology conference today. He will address numerous players within the technology world and promise a hi-tech revolution in UK public services. This will involve finally upgrading public computers to Windows 95, faster network connections, and the exciting introduction of something called 'colour monitors'.
