All signs point to Bojo..

Both Politicalbetting.com and the one of the FT blogs have reported that Paddypower, the Irish Book Makers, has already started paying out on Boris Johnson winning the Mayoral Election - despite the fact that votes haven't been officially counted yet.

[This would be a good place to stick one of those old school Irish jokes.]

The news certainly doesn't bode well for Ken Livingstone or his supporters, nor indeed the Labour party as a whole. Their day just keeps getting heavier.

According to most political experts, Boris Johnson is pretty much guaranteed to win the election. At this stage Westmonster is feeling more than confident that he will. We only wish that we'd had a little more faith in the dizzy prat in the first place and laid a few bets down on him.
