Tea and biscuits with Bojo...
According to one of the blogs on The Telegraph website, whichever Team Bojo call centre worker manages to make the most calls to Londoners today will be presented with the opportunity to share a cup of tea and a biscuit with the man himself.
We're surprised that one didn't make it to the front page, let alone some backstairs blog.
Although the prize itself isn't physically very interesting, it's worth noting that Bojo has the ability to use his personality alone as a way of encouraging his workers to do something for him. Many have criticised the man for basing his election campaign on celebrity over ideas, but does this prize of tea and biscuits serve as an extension of this idea, or does it show that people genuinely like him? Is he playing on his celebrity or does it naturally play on itself?
Ken Livingstone's camp was said to be considering a prize of 'Coffee with Ken'. However, due to the bitter taste that he has in his mouth after hearing about the latest polling results, the plan was called off.
Boris Johnson is currently leading the race at 51% against Red Ken's 49%.
