Brown joins cast of Livingstone's List
Today, however, the value of the list was compounded as Livingstone scribbled his own name out of pole position and replaced it with that of the PM. Reports from the grape vine show that upon hearing the news Boris Johnson, Mr. Livingstone's strongest opponent in the upcoming Mayoral Election, began to weep for mercy and pull "large to medium sized" chunks of hair from his famous bouffant.
Steven Spielberg is said to be interested in purchasing the movie rights to Livingstone's List. It shall be a heart warming tale about triumph over adversity as a benevolent mayor helps to save numerous celebrity has-beens from the perils of obscurity.*
The news of the list has caused controversy for Mr. Livingstone as his critics (Johnson's PR agents, Right-wing media, Capitalists, etc) claim it is a mere tool for Ol' Ken to cover up the fact that he has no fresh ideas. It is also claimed to be a fine example of Livingstone's hypocrisy after he previously stated that the election "wasn't Celebrity Big Brother."
Gordon Brown was added to the list after he praised Mr. Livingstone for his "innovation, determination and great support right across London". It is as yet unknown whether or not Mr Brown's endoresment of Mr Livingstone will help him to win the Mayoral Election, due to current public perceptions of Mr Brown and his declining popularity.
