Meedja on the Insanity Pills
Here come the Headcases
Rory Bremner's new Spitting Image update, Headcases starts a week on Sunday, and it will be interesting to see what, if any, impact it has on politics. Spitting Image always seemed to loom large in the 1980s and early 1990s, but did it change anything? Judging by the Headcases page on itv.com, which features not one single politician, they're going to be going after Z-list celebs and royals rather than politicos. Shame. We were looking forward to the return of Normo Tebbs in a leather jacket....

Couple of errors though; Rory Bremner only did a couple of voices, I think the tabloids have just picked up on the big name and thrown it up front, it'sactualy "brought to us by Henry Naylor". And the reason there are no politicians on the ITV site is because they weren't ready in time for the online guys - it will actually feature quite a few politicians - Brown, Cameron, Osborne, Hague, Smith, Darling, Mugabe, Sarkozy, Medvedev, Putin, The Clintons, Bush, Rice..."
