ConservativeHome: Boris now 12% ahead

ConservativeHome have a new YouGov survey from the Stannah showing Boris Johnson is now 12% ahead. We think they mean "12 percentage points" but you get the idea. BoJo ahead in second-preference voting, too. The suburbs are making themselves heard once more, it appears.

We should also point out that 'Umble Andrew Gilligan appeared in our comment threads over the weekend, pointing out that he needn't worry about being accused of accusing Lee Jasper of "misconduct in public office" because:

The criminal charge of "misconduct in public office" is brought in very specific circumstances usually involving police officers leaking information to the press.

Lee Jasper is not a police officer, thank God, though no doubt if Ken is re-elected he will be appointed the next Met commissioner.

While we admire the joke at the end, we're worried 'Umble Andrew might be getting a bit too relaxed on the electoral run-in.
