- And for those of you keeping score, Westmonster stayed up late last night to cover the election whilst Iain Dale — despite an invitation to "Spend the night with me" knocked off to bed at 1:30. Westmonster is disappointed in Iain, but rather relieved we didn't have to spend the night with him.
- Peter Hain gets all contrite, but still faces an inquiry over donations to his deputy leadership bid.
- Simon Heffer, in today's Telegraph, encourages us to let MPs hold on to outside interests, to "put able people back in the Commons.
- Larry Elliott, in Comment is Free, puts on his bell-bottom trousers and takes us back to the 70s to show us the perilous state of the economy, and offer a warning to the Chancellor.
- The government has decided to reclassify cannabis as a Class B drug in the spring, regardless of what the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs reports. (via An Englishman's Castle)
