Dale: Let's all hold hands

Iain Dale latches on to a commenter Paddy Briggs' plea for civility today and asks his commenters to "be much politer (sic) to each other" in the new year.

"Surely a golden rule is that we wouldn't put in a Comment what we wouldn't say to someone's face or in a letter? I know I can be as shrill as the rest, so I may have to impose some self discipline too (Matron!), but I'm also going to be a bit tougher in moderating I think."

Westmonster agrees: Dale can be shrill.
