"Bleak future" for beloved curry

chicken-curry-web.jpgWestmonster never realised that making a curry required a skilled chef — we've always used the drunken logic that what's eaten whilst pissed was prepared whilst pissed. But pity the poor punters of Northampton, where, according to Lib Dem councillor Sadik Chaudhury, restrictive UK immigration laws have led to 10 per cent of the 60 area curry houses being staffed by unskilled chefs.

Says Councillor Chaudhury:

"We fully appreciate that barriers to mass immigration from non-EU countries have to be erected somewhere. The points-based system and the requirement for skilled workers to pass an English language test before being considered for working visas are, in most cases, perfectly sensible. However, unless we can persuade the powers-that-be to give us some sort of special dispensation, the future for Britain's curry restaurants is bleak indeed."

Oh, the humanity!

Westmonster wants to know: Who knew that Britain's national dish is prepared by immigrants — and when did they know it?. This madness must be brought to a stop. Please join us in boycotting the 54 curry houses in Northampton using immigrant labour before all curries are made by Indians. Do your part to keep Britain for the British!
