Commish: "A bit of a limpet"
In an interview with the Today programme, Met Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair called himself "a bit of a limpet." Um OK, whatever.
Oh, he's talking about not resigning. Glad he took that seriously.
Blair goes on to say:
In terms of my commission, I think it is quite likely that it will be remembered as the major disaster that occurred on my watch.
What I hope is that in years to come I will be judged on my whole term of office and not just on this one event.
Westmonster reckons he's about half-right, but leaves it to you to decide which half is which.
