Immigration for grown-ups

The Government doesn't know. The Daily Mail doesn't know. The Local Government Association doesn't know. Even London's taxi drivers don't know. So what exactly is going on with immigration in Britain? Well, the Barrow Cadbury Trust have had a stab at investigating. The report contains the memorable phrase "Britain's diversity is becoming more diverse." No wonder Jacqui Smith's struggling. The Daily Mail reckons the report shows that 16 of Britain's city will be "minority white" by next Tuesday or something, but we couldn't find that bit.

More bad news for El Gordo in the ComRes survey for the Indy, which says that people like Cameron more, see the Tories as government-in-waiting, and will acually go out and shoot someone if Brown tries that fake smile one more chuffing time.

Odd story in the Indy that Brown has "pledged" to secure government databases in a phone call to Cleggers. But only by next spring. So, identity thieves, get busy.
