Ruth Kelly and state funding

The news that Ruth Kelly has been done for producing a leaflet containing phrases such as "the Labour Party is the greatest" and "give me a G! Give me an O! Give me an R!" and so on and so forth, has prompted a  predictably sanctimonious response from the Mail on Sunday, and "Outraged of Tonbridge Wells" style comments on ConservativeHome all of which contained the term "taxpayers' money."

Cool. In the interests of consistency, are the Tories are going to stop trousering the £4.5 million they get annually from the state in Short money to do ... well, what exactly?
