The Dodgy Donor Row is getting unseemly, and somewhat complicated so let's try and do this in some sort of chronological/logical order:

• Peter Hain's checked his wallet and - who'da thunk it? - nestled between a receipt for Mama Amalfi and one for some extra potent bronzing lotion was one that said, "Dear Peter, here's five grand, Love Jon Mendelsohn." Hain: d'oh!
• According to a report on Newsnight, Harriet Harman's woes are not over; she's still in debt from her Deputy Leadership campaign, and it is alleged that she has taken out additional loans that remain undeclared to the Electoral Commission. The Devil's Kitchen is all, "Harriet's totally f*cked." Harriet: d'oh!
• It appears that the person who put Harriet in contact with Janet Kidd (the David Abrahams go-between) was Chris Leslie - the former MP and ... wait for it: the Gord's campaign manager. Gord: d'oh!
• Meanwhile, the police have been called in to investigate the goings-on, as Open Warfare is declared. Everybody: oh crap, not again!
