What is it with the world at the moment?

Every politician is attempting to get down wid da kidz and talk like a popstar, and every bloody popstar seems to be talking like a politician; except without the comparatively small salary, unencumbered by any responsibility to actually do anything about the cause they're talking about, or hampered by accountability to those in their audience, of course.

Now the rot has spread to the film industry (see pic). Who wants to start a petition to Hollywood, along the lines of: "Either get elected and actually do something about the problems you are hectoring us about via pisspoor films, or get on with making the A-Team movie. Up to you."?
