Daily Mail: getting to the heart of the Gord's vision

As far as "stealing Conservative clothes" goes, the Daily Mail can exclusively reveal that Sarah Brown has taken her husband's example one step too far.

Yesterday, arriving at Parliament for the Queen's Speech, Mrs Brown shocked onlookers by wearing a coat.

Said a nearby Tory MP, "This is another example of the deficit of ideas at the heart of Gordon Brown's vision. Last year Samantha Cameron wore a coat during the winter and this year - surprise surprise - Sarah Brown's wearing a coat as well!"

Fruity Mrs Cameron's husband said that he was "saddened but not surprised," but the Fashion Police said they would be taking no action. "Looking like your outfit has been chosen by a colour-blind parrot is the 'in' look this year," said a spokesman.

Samantha Cameron is reportedly being comforted by friends.
