Belated round-up

Apologies for the delay, Westmonster's been battling with sommat nasty this morning. Anyway, the woes of the Gord have been obscured momentarily by the woes of Steve McClaren, who managed to assist the roaringly excellent feel-good factor in Blighty (this is sarcasm) at the moment by leading his team to a 2398477-0 defeat against Croatia last night, roaring "I fight on, I fight to win," immediately afterwards, and being sacked twelve hours later. There's a lesson for us all in there somewhere.
Diskgate still rumbles on, characterised by a marked lack of sympathy on the part of our American cousins (see Wonkette and Instapundit). Guys, guys. Cut us some slack, eh?
Apparently there's more to come on Diskgate as evidence emerges that the biggest crisis to befall the Gord (this week) wasn't just the fault of a 23 year old bag-carrier. The truth is out there, and Michael Fallon MP's going to find it, dagnammit.
